Only Show Them the Right Way

“Allāh guides whom He wills” (28:56). Most people want to guide their loved ones to the right path. If Allāh ﷻ wills, it happens. If not, no matter how hard you try it doesn't work. Some people try to attract people by showing things, that aren't in Islām. No need, just be gentle, make it easy and not difficult. Do not mix Islām with other things. Show them the way of mercy. The gentle, sweet way Mawlānā taught us. Only show them the right way. The way of the Prophet ﷺ.

Who Is the Strong One?

The strong one is the one who controls his anger, says our Prophet ﷺ. The real strong ones look at everybody with mercy. Anger comes from ego and harms people. If it controls you, you will be defeated, but if you control your anger, you will be raised. When you hear something that makes you angry, you should repent immediately so that you don't do something you regret. If there is something wrong, you can change it into something good. But if you rush, and get angry you will regret it.

Work As if You Live Forever

The Prophet ﷺ said you must work as if you will never die, and you must worship as if you will die tomorrow. If you leave one or the other, you will end up following your ego. You can be sincere and wait for Mahdī (as) as Mawlānā did, but don't sit and wait for Mahdī (as) and Armageddon and do nothing. You should work and pray. If you ask for your worldly provision for Allāh’s ﷻ sake it is also worshipping. You can also make plans for the future, but always remember the most important thing; to say, in shā’a Llāh.

Be Beloved for Allāh ﷻ

Happiness is to be Beloved for Allāh ﷻ. Everybody can be beloved for Allāh ﷻ; there is a chance for everybody. It is the most honourable thing. Don't mix anything with this love. You cannot want to be Beloved for Allāh ﷻ because you want to make miracles, and be famous, or to take money. Do not look for small things. These are wrong ideas. Your intention must be pure. "If He ﷻ is happy with us, it is enough for me." you must say. And when you are beloved you will get everything you need without even asking.

When humans are living in luxury, they begin to think it is their right to have it. But it is from Allah, and you must be happy and thankful with what He gives you. Now, instead of poverty, people complain about their marriage; saying the love is not like at the beginning. This is a sign of very low īmān. Marriage is an institution that Allāh ﷻ and the Prophet ﷺ like. The family institution is holy. Marriage is one of the foundations of Islām. Always think for your marriage to continue and to be accepted in the Divine Presence.

The Answer for the Ignorant

"When the ignorant address them, they say salām." (25:63) Good people don't answer, they say ‘salām’. There is no need to argue with an ignorant person because he has fixed ideas and don’t want to understand. Now there are many of them. In non Muslim countries they may be dangerous. The best answer to an ignorant is to keep silent. Just keep quiet and be happy and Allāh ﷻ will reward you.

If You Love Allāh, Then Follow Me (3:31)

You are not true believers unless you love what I love, says our Prophet ﷺ. A Muslim must try to reach higher ranks by following the way of our Prophet. Follow the Prophet, and Allāh ﷻ will love you. Even if we can't do everything, we have to try our best. The way of Allāh is only with our Prophet through our prophet, it cannot be otherwise. He was sent as mercy to us, and we must love him.

You Are Not Created for Fun

Allāh ﷻ did not create us uselessly. He created human beings, the most honourable creatures between the creatures. Be thankful and obey His order; He did this for us. This honour to be forever, is for human beings only. You must prepare yourself. Allāh ﷻ told people through Prophets, holy people and books and if you follow, you will be rewarded with Paradise. Do your best to take this honour and be honourable on the last day also.

Shyness Is from Belief

Believers are shy to do bad things. In western countries we now see that bad things are even encouraged, and we are told ‘it is your nature’. It may be your nature, but Allāh orders you to fight your ego. Believers are ashamed of their bad deeds and are ordered to cover them, and Allāh ﷻ will keep them secret.

These are difficult times, but you know it won't continue like this. Light will come.
