Hurry for Ākhirah Not for Dunyā

The Words That Clean

The advice to avoid this virus is to be clean but cleanliness does not just come from soap and water. The non-believer is not clean according to the Qur’ān and they are denied entry to Mecca and Medina. Just saying a few words, lā ilāha illā Llāh Muḥammadur Rasūlu Llāh, will clean you. The Prophet ﷺ also used to advise making a promise to give charity if you heal from an illness.

Run to Allāh ﷻ

The Prophet ﷺ ordered not to travel to places with an epidemic, and not to leave if you are already there. You will carry the responsibility of infecting others. The first order of Islām is to be clean. Tie your camel first, do what you can to prepare, and then place your trust in Allāh ﷻ.
